Permanent Yellow GR, commonly known as Pigment Yellow 13, is a yellow powder. It offers better solvent resistance and crystallization stability compared to Pigment Yellow 12, featuring semi-transparency, high tinting strength, and bright color. It has excellent migration resistance and matches printing ink tones, with lightfastness 1-2 grades higher than Pigment Yellow 13 at equal depth. It is widely used in packaging inks and can also be applied in plastic coloring. It shows good migration resistance in soft PVC, with lightfastness grades 6-7, and is limited to use below 200°C in HDPE.
